Love this place. The only little thing that I would change is on the Italian grinders is to put the cool crisp lettuce on after you toast it not before .. it comes out warm and wilted. Still good though

I used to eat at Putnam House of Putnam all the time. Their Pizza is awesome as well as their grinders. The gentleman that owns it is always busy but very nice to everyone that I know of that has ever gone in their. The woman who I am have seen working in there is more quiet but still very pleasant. I'f you are looking for good Pizza, personally I'd go here.

Good pizza and grinders. Both have always had plenty of meat and toppings. I've never been disappointed. The owner is Super friendly. There are a few tables, but this is really a take out place.

This is my favorite pizza place! For the type of restaurant this is-- it's an excellent choice. I agree with Brian... the negative reviews are puzzling. I've been coming here for over 20 years. The pizza sauce is outstanding... our favorite pizza is the Meat Lover's pizza. Great salads, sandwiches, and grinders. I love the French fries and the Gyros. A great place to go when you don't feel like cooking.

I find the negative reviews puzzling, particularly regarding the appearance of the pizza. Not greasy, house made dough, and consistent execution. Owner is a super nice guy with interesting stories about growing up in Greece. We tried every pizza place around when we moved here from the Boston area and this has been our go-to when we're too busy with our farm to cook.

had an excellent meal here the other day. this place is a little sleepy- there was no one else in the parking lot when we pulled in, and the phone didn't ring once while we ate, but they must do a good business, because the signage makes it look like they've been open since the 70s. (to their credit- we did come in on a monday at about 4 o'clock; not exactly prime time for a restaurant.) mom got a turkey triple decker and i got a gyro. both were served with a HUGE amount of fries, and cole slaw. first- the fries: these were absolutely delicious. everyone's preferences are different, so these may not be your favorite, but i loved them. they hot, fresh, crispy, and well-seasoned. mom's triple decker was so big she could hardly get her mouth around it. (and i can vouch for it being yummy because i got the second half she didn't have room for...) my gyro was also very good. the meat was clearly frozen and heated, as opposed to sliced from an actual gyro spit setup, but it was still tasty. it was served with sliced tomato, chopped white onion, and a healthy amount of tzatziki. cole slaw was on the sweet side for me, and condiments are either pre-portioned (i got a side of ranch for the fries which came in a plastic ramekin with a lid), or in packets. haven't had the pizza or grinders yet, but will definitely be back.
